THE BAKERY FOR DOGS!!

About us

  With a bad treat recall that happened a few years ago and people loosing their precious pets, I had a package of that "stuff" on my counter that I thought I was spoiling my dog with. When I heard of a recall of that same brand on my counter.....I became frantic! I stayed up most of the night with my dog looking, watching, searching for ONE sign and I was gonna scoop him up and to the car and we were gonna fly the the nearest vet open! luckily my dog did not have any issues and was just fine (aside that he had a great night sleep and I didn't) from then on I swore to myself that I would NEVER buy a store bought treat that I didn't know it source....so I figured "I bake treats for my kids...why can't I bake for my dog too?" and so I made a mess of my kitchen to no end!! 

  Many messes and many batches later I finally made awesome treats my dog loved. I packaged up some and gave to friends and family and once they found out I was making all natural dog treats from my home...well....word spread and before I knew it I was baking everyday!!

                                        FASTFORWARD...

  With the love of dogs and fear of the nasty recall of pet treats hatched the idea to make my own fresh yummy treats for my dog. This business started out of my home in November 2012 with family, friends, and just word of mouth my little adventure spread and I needed to get the baking out of my home and into its own place....I opened doors to a Bakery for dogs January 1st 2014!  The K9 Confectionary is a great addition to the little town of Conneaut I live in!

  The K9 Confectionary Dog Treat Bakery is an "All Natural" bakery for dogs located in a neat little town of Conneaut Ohio. I offer many flavors like cheese, peanut butter, turkey, salmon, sweet potato, and others. I have both plain and fancy decorated treats for any kind of spoiled and loved pup!! I also make DOGGY BIRTHDAY CAKES!! see you and your pup soon!!!
